Role Overview

As a Facilities Analyst at TMMC, you will oversee the daily operation of the on-site janitorial vendor. Your responsibilities will include managing vendor contracts and budgets as well as reporting on janitorial and some building services key performance indicators (KPIs). This position offers the opportunity to lead minor repairs and renovations in the office, washrooms, and other general areas at TMMC.


What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and manage annual budget of over $4M in vendor contracts
  • Oversee daily operations of the on-site janitorial vendor
  • Support janitorial contractor in understanding Toyota Production System (TPS) and specific TMMC requirements on safety, quality, productivity, and cost
  • Liaise with all shops to support their janitorial cleaning needs
  • Develop solutions for various janitorial and washroom issues
  • Manage the Facilities Portal (online request logging system)  
  • Support small scope modifications, kaizens, and simple contractor management (washroom and common area improvements, office moves, furniture standards and approvals)


Desired Skills and Experiences

  • Diploma/Certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration or equivalent diploma/certificate is required
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience would be considered
  • Minimum of new grad to 2 years of relevant work experience is required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proven problem identification (go and see) and problem-solving skills to quickly resolve issues
  • Proven ability to deliver services in a cost-effective manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to adapt to and prioritize multiple challenges and quick changes in priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; experience in interacting with all levels of the organization
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), SAP, Power BI
  • Demonstrated understanding of colour pallets and interior design is an asset
  • Strong follow-up capability, project management and organizational skills
  • Must be flexible to work in Cambridge and/or Woodstock plant locations
