Role Overview:

As a Strategic Workforce Planning Specialist at TMMC, you have direct impact on TMMCs ability to meet staffing needs and ensure we have the right people in the right place at the right time to support all our operations. Communication, planning & data analysis are vital skills you will possess.  If you are passionate about continuous improvement, this role will provide you project opportunities to help you grow, and add value to the organization. 

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Support Workforce Planning group with daily reporting and analysis
  • Annual Vacation Planning & internal customer support
  • Manage promotion process, and additional selection process
  • Working with internal & external vendors to initiate system Kaizens
  • Weekly & monthly workforce planning, tracking & reporting
  • Maintain process and system for headcount authorization
  • Forecast balance of hire & transfer requirements
  • Perform administrative functions & assist Management
  • Increase HR data integrity through kaizen & standardization

 

Desired Skills and Experiences

  • University degree/College Diploma – Business Administration/Mathematics or related field is preferred
  • Specialization in HR or Accounting would be an asset
  • 2-4 years of experience in workforce planning and/or experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred
    Strong systems and process capability – Identify and manage improvement projects
  • Able to demonstrate strong problem identification and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
  • High accuracy and attention to detail is critical
  • Must be highly self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Proven time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills to meet specific deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in process improvement
  • Able to support overtime as and when required 
  • Must be legally eligible to enter the USA
  • Must be flexible to work in Cambridge and/or Woodstock
