Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada (TMMC) is a world-class automotive facility with manufacturing plants located in Cambridge and Woodstock, Ontario. What you’ll be doing

  • Process, track, and oversee all employee job changes including hiring, contract renewals, transfers, and terminations in various HR systems
  • Collaborate with Toyota Motor North America Human Resources Information Systems team to determine best practices
  • Lead enhancement implementations through Human Resources Information Systems
  • Maintain and oversee all personal data records for employees
  • Create and follow standardized work for all processes
  • Ensure accuracy of all records through setup and maintenance of a structured audit process
  • Update and manage security access for Workday users
  • Conduct systems analysis to ensure process accuracy
  • Increase TMMC Human Resources data integrity through leading process kaizen and standardization initiatives
  • Required to work with minimal supervision

 

Desired Skills and Experiences

 

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration or related field is required
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience would be considered
  • Specialization in HR Systems Management would be an asset
  • Minimum of new graduate to 2 years’ of relevant work experience in job data/workforce systems management within a large manufacturing environment is required
  • High accuracy and attention to detail is critical
  • Highly motivated self-initiator
  • Proven time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills to meet specific deadlines
  • Able to demonstrate problem identification and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-tasking environment
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office: Excel, and Word
  • Strong understanding of Human Resources Information Systems, Workday experience would be an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good presentation skills – ability to present to group leaders and above and train on new processes
  • Ability to interact with all levels and all parts of the Organization
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willing to support daily and weekend overtime requirements as needed
  • Possible travel within North America as well as Overseas (less than 5% per year)
  • Must be flexible to work in Cambridge and/or Woodstock plant locations
