Role Overview:

As a Workforce Management Specialist at TMMC, you will work with senior management to create organizational structure to maximize output and efficiency. In this role, your responsibilities will include:

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Ensure accurate records are kept for headcount authorization and current headcount status to support the organization’s efficiency and cost targets
  • Coordinate recruitment and maintain authorization process for Administration and Engineering positions
  • Work with Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) on regional workforce strategy
  • Lead and facilitate meetings with senior management to design workforce strategy and organizational structure
  • Opportunity to lead process improvement initiatives to improve efficiencies within the headcount management process
  • Creation of Administrative and Engineering labour fiscal year budget
  • Reporting for budget purposes, TMNA and TMMC requirements on headcount, attrition, attendance, overtime, etc.
  • Maintain compliance to ensure team members have the correct and up-to-date work permits when required
  • Support Talent Management Specialist in areas such as specialist development and succession planning

 

Desired Skills and Experiences

  • University degree in related field, business degree preferred

· CHRP/CHRL would be an asset

· 3 to 5 years of Human Resources experience in recruiting, organizational design and headcount management preferred

· Advanced knowledge of business and human resource principles to perform function

· Strong knowledge of headcount management, including authorization, tracking, and reporting

· Detailed knowledge of work permit requirements to ensure TMMC compliance

· Able to demonstrate strong problem identification and problem-solving skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the Organization

· Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI

· High accuracy and attention to detail is critical

· Highly motivated self-initiator

· Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-tasking environment

  • Able to support overtime as and when required 

· Must be legally eligible to enter the USA

  • Must be flexible to work in Cambridge and/or Woodstock
