Role Overview
As an Analyst in Finance’s Tax and Treasury group at TMMC, you will be responsible for expense reporting, on-line vendor invoicing, key performance indicator reporting, month end activities, and reconciliations. Your attention to detail will demonstrate your accuracy while administering expense reports and vendor invoices. Your effective interpersonal and communication skills will allow you to provide an important level of customer service for both internal and external customers, acting as a moderator to assist in providing solutions to customer queries and issues.
What you’ll be doing
- Administer, process, and train team members by using the SAP Concur travel expense system when dealing with team member expense concerns
- Manage Supplier Web Invoicing (SWI) including vendor setup and inquiries
- Liaise with customers and vendors to ensure timely payment
- Investigate and prepare Floor Management Development System (FMDS) and key performance indicator (KPI) information to present to the section lead and management
- Complete month end activities and balance sheet analysis with follow up on progress and outstanding items
- Perform all bank and account reconciliations on a timely basis
- Support all tax and treasury functions as needed
- Ensure compliance with all related accounting and Company policies and procedures
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business, Accounting or other related education or experience is required
- Holds or working towards an accounting designation (CPA) is an asset
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of accounts payable experience in a large corporate environment is required
- Intermediate level of work experience in Excel required
- SAP knowledge is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure when multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
- Deadline oriented and able to effectively deliver the performance KPIs
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy is maintained
- Ability to consistently adhere to TMMC compliance and SOX requirements, particularly for cash and payments
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to effectively facilitate cross functional teams in problem resolution
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate a large portfolio (2000+ vendors)
- Willing to support daily and weekend overtime requirements as needed
- Possible travel within North America as well as Overseas (less than 5% per year)
- Must be flexible to work in Cambridge and/or Woodstock plant locations
