Operations Coordinator
Position Summary:
- Assembly Line Control Specialist is responsible for timely communications with various levels of Management regarding production conditions, situations and recommendations (Downtime, vehicle inventories, overtime, informed escalation).
- Provide constant monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) adherence tracking towards strong next step recommendations.
- Plant communications hub for production related issues, direction, and escalation.
- Coordination and support of Model Change activities, focusing on system readiness, convertor confirmation, and vehicle order restriction and guide setup, ramp up / gap strategy development, and execution.
- Broadcast supplier system setup and build instruction.
- Review processes, standardization and continuous improvement (Kaizen).
- Manage and coordinate projects as per assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary Education in Business, Engineering or Math
Experience:
- Possess a strong aptitude, working with numbers.
- Be a highly motivated self-starter.
- Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Be comfortable with computers, various computer applications (Mainframe, local support systems).
- Possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven problem identification and advanced problem solving skills.
- Demonstrates leadership with experience in Project Management.
- Strong organizational skills are essential.
- Works well in a team environment and have the ability to adapt to a fast changing environment and prioritize tasks appropriately.
This position requires you to work two week rotating shifts, overtime support in alignment with scheduled hours of work including weekend production requirements with the Shop Floor.
