As an I.S. Systems Engineer at TMMC, you will develop and maintain systems for various internal users and business units across North America and participate in general quality support rotation. You will be a full stack engineer in the ICS+ Mobile Team that develops and supports regional manufacturing systems in use at TMMC and Toyota Manufacturing Plants globally. You will be working through the full software development cycle for mobile applications used by Quality Control. In this role you will experience a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to projects, continuous improvement, problem/incident resolution and user requests.

  • Traveling to Toyota Plants in North and South America supporting application deployment and maintenance.

  • Android development
  • Angular web development
  • Web Services (SOAP, WCF, REST)
  • .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, WPF)
  • MVC, MVP design
  • Object oriented design patterns
  • C, C++, MSMQ, SQL/PLSQL, Oracle, SQL Server
  • Oracle Pro*C Experience
  • Manufacturing, data collection and line control experience and asset
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Experience in an Agile Development environment
  • Able to manage the system development life cycle
  • Well versed in the system design process including design of use cases, testing and implementation
  • Excellent ability to create documentation
  • Proven relationship management skills
  • Ability to travel locally as well as internationally, must be legally eligible to enter the USA
  • Must work well both autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Ability to balance several concurrent assignments and negotiate with customer groups to follow tasks through to conclusion
  • Strong interpersonal skills, decision-making skills and problem-solving skills
  • Perform under pressure and demonstrate flexibility in customer support role
  • Ability to work day shift Monday to Friday but be flexible to support occasional weekend implementation work.
  • Required to be part of on call support rotation for critical manufacturing applications and systems.
  • All software development experience levels are considered, including co-op.
