Role Overview:
Our Manufacturing Engineering position is a hands-on engineering role that offers the opportunity to work directly with a variety of departments (maintenance, production, quality, equipment vendors and contractors), different automated equipment and technology, and learn from the top Engineers in the industry and see the direct impact of your work.

Positions Available: We are looking for Engineering candidates for multiple Engineering openings within various shops in our plants: Weld, Press, Assembly, and Paint/Plastics.

Position Summary:

  • Identify and implement kaizen projects to improve productivity & efficiency
  • Hands-on root cause analysis on production, engineering, equipment and maintenance issues
  • Lead daily troubleshooting activities, provide solutions and support for process concerns or improvement
  • Automation troubleshooting, new equipment installation and modifications
  • Process equipment evaluation to implementation
  • Ensure equipment and systems comply with relevant standards and legislation
  • Budget forecasting and monitoring
  • Work and collaborate with cross-functional groups
 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent degree is required
  • Must meet the educational and character requirements for P.Eng. license eligibility
  • Minimum of 1– 3 years of practical engineering experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment 
  • Automation experience is an asset
  • Knowledge and experience in the application of SPC (Statistical Process Control)
  • Previous data analysis experience
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Mechanical and electrical technical skills
